Dave Rubin, the founder of In The Bag Deli, has been in the deli/restaurant business since age 15. He’s always had a passion for this type of work, and in 1989, with the encouragement and compassion of his wife, Marla, he was able to accomplish his dream.
What Dave loves so much about his work is the diversity and non-stop nature that keeps him sharp. It’s also become somewhat of a family affair as his wife, daughter, father, and other family members love getting involved.
In the Bag Deli has also become a staple in the neighborhood. Since they opened 25 years ago, they’ve been known to help the community with donations, and are often requested to do events for churches, schools, organizations, etc..
In the Bag Deli offers catering for parties up to 300. All the food, hot or cold, is prepared on the premises, which is something Dave is truly proud of because he wants his customers to have the best of whatever they order.
