Project Description
With over 25 years of design experience, Karen Givnish opened the Great Room in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, not only to house her design studio, but also to showcase a collection of unique furniture, handcrafted accessories, and distinctive art in an intimate atmosphere. She and her staff have welcomed clients to the Great Room for consultations that strengthen the client/designer relationship since 2002.
Having acquired considerable experience working with clients and their architects, Karen’s talents extend to the pre-construction phase of a new home or the early stages of a renovation project. Her expertise and innate good taste simplify the otherwise overwhelming process of interior and exterior selections.
Karen has worked on homes throughout the country, and her designs have been recognized in national publications. She is an Allied Member of the American Society of Interior Designers and has taught design courses at Temple University. While these accomplishments are certainly gratifying, Karen’s greatest satisfaction is knowing her clients enjoy a lifestyle enhanced by her artistic and intelligent design
